Inspiring fitness and mindset blog cover showing the power of decisions, effort, and growth

Winner or Loser?

September 09, 20251 min read

The choice is always yours.

No matter what the situation is, the choice will always be yours.

Almost every second of the day we are making decisions that lead us towards an end result. We may not know exactly what this end result will be just yet, but what we do today will impact what the outcome is tomorrow.

As the G.O.A.T Michael Jordan says -

You miss 100% of the free throws you didn't attempt.

What does this mean?

Well let's dive a little deeper into this.

Do you LOSE or are you simply afraid of not WINNING?

Personally i would prefer to be a loser. Let me explain!

When it comes to business, sport, coaching, relationships, finances and so on, i would prefer to put every bit of effort in, try my best and still lose than to not try at all and not win.

Please read that again!

The choice, again is yours. Winning is one thing but learning from your loses is another. No one great ever went through life a continuous winner. And, while losing they didn't blame anyone else. They accepted it and grew.

So, to wrap this up and resist dragging it on into a long blog that will bore many we need to understand that taking a risk or choosing a decision that may not please others is perfectly fine. No matter the outcome there is always a win somewhere amongst it.

Don't fear being a loser, fear being someone who didn't WIN because they didn't try.
